Obituaries

Pearl Grier, 100, a resident of Spring Creek Nursing Center, passed peacefully on August 31, 2010, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was lifelong member of the Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her life one daughter, Constance A. Grier, and one son Joseph E. Grier, both of Harrisburg, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Services will be held at the church at 2447 Green Street in Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
