Deaconess Helen “Patty” (Fields) Jackson, 71 of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, completed her earthly journey on Sunday, November 10, 2019. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Calvin T. Fields, Sr. and Rosaline (Spencer) Fields.
Helen was a dedicated member of Gospel Fellowship Church for many years. She served faithfully as a Deaconess and would often minister thru singing, which she loved to do. Helen enjoyed attending church conventions until her health no longer allowed. She attended John Harris High School, was employed by the Harrisburg State Hospital for 18 year and also worked in Home Health Care.
Helen was an avid shopper and was known to many as the “QVC Queen”. She loved jewelry, doing crossword and word find puzzles, adult coloring art, watching old movies, listening to XM radio, and gospel music. Her most treasured thoughts were of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is preceded by her siblings; Calvin T. Fields, Jr. and Charles R. Fields (Blue). She leaves to celebrate her life her children; Charles L. Jackson of Harrisburg, PA, Leonard A. Jackson of Akron, Ohio, siblings; Tonja Jackson of Harrisburg, PA, Marvin Palmer of Harrisburg, PA, Crystal Fields of Winston-Salem, NC, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
