Deacon Paul S. Davis, Jr., 97 years young, a native of Augusta, Georgia was born March 5, 1921 to the parents of Paul Samuel Davis, Sr. and Julia Davis. He answered the Master’s call from faithful, Christian service on March 23, 2018.
He married Mary, his childhood sweetheart on November 7, 1943 and this beautiful union proved to be a lasting one of love and patience. The Davis family moved to Harrisburg in 1949 at which time he enrolled in Thompson College. He joined Second Baptist Church where he served as Trustee and Choir member, later became Chairman of the Deacon Board where he served faithfully.
