Barbara Jean Cobb was born Monday, May 1, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA, the only child of the Late John and Mildred Felton. She transitioned Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Just the way she lived, her passing was peaceful and quiet.
She received her diploma in 1955 from William Penn High School in Harrisburg, Pa.
Barbara was a lifetime member of Bethel AME Church, Harrisburg, PA. At an early age Barbara accepted the Lord Jesus Christ under the Leadership of Rev C. H. Fountain. She served as an Usher and was a faithful member of the Sunday School and Bible Study.
Barbara was married to Clarence Padgett II from this union they had one child, Clarence Padgett III(Rosie)
Barbara was the widow to Charles F. Cobb from this union they had six children, Sharon Evans (Reginal), John (Betty), Calvin, Carlo, Anna and Howard (Cheryl)
In addition to her children she leaves to cherish her memory her Five Grandchildren, Tonika, Rashad, Tanita, Raeshell and Nakita, Five Great Grandchildren, Quinton Jr, Zaria, Ashia, Jabari, and Aniya, one Grand-doggy Felton.
She was a Homemaker and volunteered at the Neighborhood Center in their food bank. You could always get a good conversation and a cup of coffee out of her at her table. In her leisure time, she loved going to church, spending time with her family, soap operas, The Ellen Show, reading the horoscopes, going to the movies, going out to eat, and a good celebration. She loved Lord & didn’t have a problem with sharing the love of God with everybody.
