BYRON LEDAINE HALL, age 62 passed away February 9, 2026, of heart attack. He was born April 3, 1963, in Corpus Christ Texas, a son of the late Lee Hall I, and his mother Thelma J. Hall.

Byron graduated from John Harris campus of Harrisburg High, in Harrisburg Pa. Byron joined the military and proudly served his country by serving four years in the United States Air Force, as a Certified Air Force Personnel Specialist. Byron received his Associated Degree in Human Resources while in the USAF. Byron was honorably discharged in 1986 and returned home to and began working for the State of Pennsylvania as an Administration Specialist from 1987 to 2007 at which time he retired.

Byron enjoyed playing Football, Boxing, and Basketball and he was known around town as Downtown Freddy Brown, or (Freddy B) for short. Byron was raised as a Christian and frequently attended Shiloh Church of God and Christ and found joy in both the gospel, church family, and listening to choir. Byron was very confident in his cooking skills and enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen or at cookouts. Byron truly believed that he had had the skills of a professional Chef and enjoyed entertaining his friends and family.

Byron was extremely proud of his entire family his mom, dad, brothers' and sisters' cousins, aunts and uncles, or close friends he loved his community and represented the William Howard Day homes and the P-Funk nation with fierce determination and tenacity. This is but another example of his true character and integrity that highlights his ability to inspire others to overcoming challenges with fortitude.

Byron always celebrated any success in his endeavor's, achievements, awards, or accomplishments by calling himself "Lord Byron" and playing one of his favorite songs by Rick James, Prince or his favorite song One Nation Under a Groove by Funkadelic. In addition, Byron also celebrated by listening to albums of his favorite comedian Richard Pryor.

Byron enjoyed life to the fullest, He enjoyed sports, music, and entertainment he was a diehard Washington Commanders fan, and loved playing dominos or a good card game of spades. Through his life journey, Byron touched many lives with his, sincerity, humor, and unwavering spirit of stubborn dedication to loyalty. Driven by an endless thirst for knowledge, Byron was a lifelong learner and a devoted reader.

In fact, Byron was an advent reader and once read the entire family collection of the Britannica Encyclopedia collection all 32 volumes. Byron had a passion for discovering new things and the unswerving pursuit of truth, and as a youth he loved musical instruments and thus learned to play the trumpet. Byron had an exceptional positive spirit which characterized his life and translated into lessons he earnestly imparted onto those around him.

His life will forever be a testament to the power of an indomitable spirit enthused with curiosity and resilience. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. He is survived by his loving daughter Ashley Hall, and granddaughters Nyraa and Skye.
