Carlene was an avid reader, and loved to converse with anyone, especially about her travels from Alaska to Hawaii or to wherever a bus trip would take her. She loved fellowship with her church family at New Day Way of Christ Church. She always made lasting friendships throughout her travels and will always be remembered for her love of a good food, which she always critiqued although she didn’t cook. Carlene will also be remembered for her magnificent memory and the love of her dear cat “Cathie-Marie.”

She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her siblings Terry Gaines and brother-in-law, Larry Gaines of Anchorage Alaska, her sister Jacqueline Myers of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a niece and nephew, Ashleigh and Bradford Gaines of Anchorage Alaska, and extended family and friends.
