Carol Y. Mickens

Carol Yvette Mickens was born on November 18,1959 to the late Julius Ledbetter and Mattie MickensCarol transitioned from this life to the next on September 22, 2019. Carol was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and Harrisburg Area Community College.

Carol was employed for 25 years at Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA).  The things Carol enjoyed most in life was shopping, reading the bible and spiritual books, sewing, crocheting, movies and an occasional glass of wine.  She brightened any room upon entering with her smile, positivity and good advice.  She was a blessing to many people, we will miss her dearly and always remember her in our thoughts.

Carol leaves her children Dwight Smith Jr., her daughter-in law Noemi, Donna Thomas, grandchildren; Adrionna and Roman; her sibling James Mickens, Janice Blackstone also mourn her passing.
