Daisy Mae’s Story

A beautiful flower our sister, mother and friend was through life. The name Daisy, a flower through all the stages of life, and beautiful just the same.

Daisy Mae Eden, born Daisy Mae Samuel, was the middle child of eleven children born to Jerry Samuel and Magnolia Samuels. She was a woman, you would describe as free, stern, open minded, informative, wise, strong in life, a fighter, and a helper to many. She overcame so many battles, trials, misunderstandings. Now, her spirit is strong in the Lord. She is responsible for bringing others to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Daisy Mae was a hard-working woman. Her adult years she was known to work several jobs to take care of her family, she also helped with raising her grandchildren.

Daisy had a personality that opened many doors for her over the years.; which led to many advancements that put her in management and leadership positions. In her spare time, as years went on her love of sewing and needlepoint took over.

Along with her parents, she is preceded by her brother Hure Samuel. She leaves to celebrate her life her children; Marcia Samuels, Terry Samuels, Jacqueline Fletcher (Tony), Lavittia Samuels, siblings; Mary B. Jones, Geraldine Link, Freida Samuels, Amelia Samuels, Jimmy Samuel, Douglas Samuel, Jesse Samuel, Billy Samuel, 20 grand, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
