Damien Amaru Servidio was born February 26, 2001, in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late James Philip Holton, Jr. and Rachel Servidio. He was the second son born to this union. At 6 months of age, Damien would relocate to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to live full-time with his father and stepmother, Taruia Byrd.

In Damien’s preteens he came to live with his sister Kadejah Holton (his legal guardian). Damien was first employed as a Ride Operator at Hershey Park at the age of fifteen. Later Damien worked at UPS while attending Central Dauphin East High School where he played football as a wide receiver.  He graduated from Central Dauphin East in 2015 and received a scholarship to attend Keystone College in Scranton, Pennsylvania where he continued to play football as a wide receiver.

Before Damien’s untimely demise, he was a member and mentor at the 3-Star Foundation Program located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he played basketball every Monday. Damien was known for putting smiles on people’s faces, he was very silly and enjoyed having a good time.

Damien had plenty of friends, he loved cracking jokes and playing pranks on people. Damien loved his family, especially his nephews who he looked on as little brothers. To his family, he was known as “Dae Dae”.  If you asked Damien who was his hero, he would say his only brother, Howard Holton. Damien looked up to Howard as his role model.

Damien loved sports. His favorite players were Kevin Durant and Steph Curry.  Damien was a die-hard Warriors and Redskins fan. His favorite cartoon was Ricky and Marty. If you were around Damien you were guaranteed to laugh. His favorite line was “Hey Nut, Love You Nut”.  Damien did not get a chance to live his potential life, he was just getting started.  Now he’s in heaven with his father cracking jokes -- resting with Daddy!

Damien is preceded in death by his late father James Philip Holton, Jr. and grandfather James Philip Holton, Sr. He leaves to mourn his passing his grandmother, Mary Rita Holton-Herdon; sisters, Yakina (Lawrence) Kadejah, Jamia, Talia and Jayla; his brother, Howard (Tairah); nephews, Sincere, Howard, Jr., Prince Anthony, Lawrence, Jr.; nieces, Tania, Zerriane, Promise, Hannah, Onah; aunt, Sonya (Winston) and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
