Delores P. (Lawson) Ford

Delores Patricia Lawson Ford was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on August 21, 1945. Delores was a lovely daughter of the late Herman Lawson, Sr., and Blanch Jeffries Lawson. She lived an eventful life until she went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2025. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed by her entire family and countless others who loved her dearly.

Delores received her formal education and graduated from John Harris High School in 1965, and had nursing training. Delores worked for the Federal Government in Washington, D.C., and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Delores lived her life with a joyful heart. She accepted Christ as her Savior and faithfully trusted God concerning the cares of her daily life. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and to other places around the world. Some of her favorite destinations were the Caribbean Islands, South America, and Africa. Even in her last days, you could find her shopping and planning another trip.

Delores was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Lula I. Lawson and Larry E. Lawson, Sr. She is survived by her devoted brothers, Dr. Herman Lawson Jr. (Judy), Robert Lawson Sr. (Margie), her loving sisters, Gloria Bright, Shirley Lawson and Elma Jean Scott and a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish and honor her memory.
