Ellis E. Bruce Jr, 75, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Harrisburg, PA.

Ellis Emile Bruce Jr. was the 11th child born in Columbia, Mississippi. To Millie Waller and Ellis Bruce, December 12, 1950. His parents passed away when he was a young child, leaving him to be raised by his ten older siblings. Who helped him graduate from high school.

In his early twenties, he moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Where he had his first child, Ellis Emile(40) Bruce, the third to Annetta Coleman. Next, having his second son, Etwan L. Bruce, to Lisa Fulp. To later meet and marry Rochelle Thomas on April 6. 1986. Having 2 daughters, Rae'chell N. Bruce (Sierra) and Ciera M. Bruce. While helping to raise his two stepdaughters, Angel Thomas and Elise Macon.

Ellis worked for Arnold Logistics for seventeen years as a forklift driver. Ellis was a hard-working, devoted husband and father. Ellis then retired from Arnold Logistics. Ellis got to be a part of his older daughter's Wedding and walked her down the aisle and married her off to Jovan Sierra. Ellis attended both of his daughters' graduations.

Ellis is survived by Rae'Chell Sierra, daughter, of Harrisburg, Ciera Bruce, daughter, Etwan Bruce, son, Jovan Sierra, son-in-law. His 4 siblings, Yvonne W., Mary Washington, Johnny Bruce, and Larry Bruce. His favorite niece, Michelle Jackson (who gave him the nickname Scrooge), his closest nephews, Mike, Marvin, and Mark Washington, along with 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Ellis is preceded in death by Ellis Bruce III, son, Ellis Bruce - father, and Millie Waller - mother. He leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his precious memory.
