Estoria V. Black

Estoria V. Black, 96 of Steelton passed peacefully on May 2, 2023. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to the late Leroy Johnson and Fannie (Marshall) Johnson. 

She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a volunteer with the church’s food bank. Estoria graduated from the former John Harris High School. She was employed by the Harrisburg State Hospital and retired after 36 years of service. 

Estoria enjoyed painting, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family, grandson, and the grand dog “Savage”. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded by her husband Sam Black. She leaves to celebrate her life with her son Robert L. Black Sr., daughter-in-law Shannies, grandson Robert L. Black Jr., sister Laura Jackson all of Harrisburg, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
