Ethelene Davenport-Banks

Ethelene L. Davenport-Banks, 88 of Harrisburg, PA passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Virgil Davenport and Grace Wise.

Ethelene was a member of Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ and was employed by AARP Employment Agency for many years, working as a Culinary Assistant. She enjoyed puzzles, traveling, knitting, talk shows and spending time with her family and friends. Ethelene touched the lives of many with her kindness and her generosity. She will forever be remembered for her loving spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

Along with her husband she is preceded in death by her children; Darrel McBride and, Dion Davenport, her siblings; Geneva Proctor, Fred L. Davenport, Elizabeth House, Brenda Butler, and Napolean Davenport.

Ethelene leaves to celebrate her life and memory, her children; Anthony McBride, Annette Davenport, Constance Williams, Shawn Davenport, and Kemo Davenport, her brothers; Samuel Davenport, and Virgil Davenport, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of additional family members and friends.
