Eugene Byrd

Eugene A. Byrd, 71 passed peacefully on March 4, 2013. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel Byrd. He was a retired laborer, Army veteran, member of Ephraim American Legion Post #733, loved bowling, reading and history. He is survived by his son David Byrd, finacee Elizabeth Stevens, siblings; Charles Byrd, Dorothy Newman, Barbara Hines, Sonya Chapman, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday March 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery
