Florence Marie Frazier Nolen, affectionately known as “Flo”. Florence peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on April 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Florence was born December 6, 1960, in Havelock, North Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Jessie James Frazier (deceased) and Florence Hodge Frazier. Florence attended Havelock High School and later earned her diploma through Jefferson High School program. In 1979 Florence started her employment at Atlantic Veneer in Beaufort, NC.

Little did she know she would meet her long-life partner Hezekiah Nolen Jr. Florance married her beloved husband Hezekiah Jr, on March 21st, 1987, they were married for 38 years. On April 2, 1990, they welcomed their only daughter Arianna Nolen.

During Florence's free time she enjoyed planting flowers out in her yard with her sisters. They also had a weekend routine where she and her sisters would often meet at various department stores (Belk and venture). They would often shop until the store’s sundown. On some occasions her siblings would get together and plan a random girls road trip and from state-to-state sightseeing or paying visits to family members. Florence enjoyed spending her time with her grandkids, she would always let them play dress up when they came to visit. She would tell others "If it wasn't for God and these grandkids, I wouldn't have any energy".

She is predeceased by her father Jessie James Frazier, her siblings Alice Frazier, Elle Mae Frazier Harper (Maurice Harper), Jamel Frazier (Shanelle Kelly Frazier), James Frazier (Maureen Gore Frazier-deceased). 

She is survived by her devoted husband Hezekiah Nolen Jr. her daughter Arianna Nolen (Nashville, TN), Grandchildren Ar'Laya and Aaliayah Bozeman. Sisters Rosa Frazier Royal (Paul Royal-deceased) Brooklyn, NY Clara Blackwell (William Blackwell) Newport News, VA Marty Frazier, Newport, NC Lavonia Frazier Houston, TX Charlene Frazier Havelock, NC Brothers Kenny Frazier Havelock, NC Desi Frazier Havelock, NC, and Michael Frazier (Angel Frazier) Mount Juliet, TN. In Laws Betty and Hezekiah Nolen Sr. Dina Moore (David Moore) Peter Nolen (Deceased), Lecia Smith (Paul Smith) Myron Nolen, and Marsha Nolen.

A Tribute,

(To My Wife)- You left me with beautiful memories your love is still my guide and though I cannot see you I still feel you by my side.

(To My Mom)- Mom, you gave me my first home when you carried me. I’m so glad that God chose you for me yes indeed. Your smile was like sunshine, and your heart was solid like gold. Someday we shall meet again. My arms will be wide open because I will have you to hold! I Love you Mommy.

(In loving Memory of our loving sister)- Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as our sister was the greatest gift of all. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper in your ear "We love you and miss you Sister and wish that you were here" Deep in our hearts your life is kept loving and cherish, not forget. No more tomorrows we can share but yesterdays are always there. A silent thought, a secret tear keeps your memory ever near in our hearts forever.
