Frances Lawson

Frances Elizabeth Johnson, passed away into the arms of the Lord on January 14, 2026. An avid lover of art and music, Frances was born in Harrisburg, PA on July, 10, 1950, the daughter of the late Laura Jackson and Lacy Lamb. Frances graduated from William Penn High School and went on to pursue a degree in accounting.  She work for the Commonwealth, while volunteering as a special needs art teacher.

She held various positions with UHI, Pennsylvania Housing Authority, Sun Trust International Banking, Trust Communications and lastly as a branch manager at Belco Community Credit Union. In her vast career, Frances was a exemplary professional and was always described as a very knowledgeable and gregarious person by those who knew her.

She will always be remembered for her laugh, her smile, and her sense of humor. Frances is survived by her two remaining siblings; Yvonne Matthews, and Leroy Johnson, her daughters; Iris Lawson, and Erica Wintergrass, and her five grandchildren; Maria, Susanna, Marco, Connor, and Caitlyn. Gone, but will never be forgotten, she will be desperately missed by all that she has touched throughout her remarkable and meaningful life. REST IN PEACE
