Frances N. Porter

Frances N. Porter, 85 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel Porter and sons Hubert, Robert and Thomas Porter. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, served on the Usher Board, Flower and Culinary Ministries, member of the Elks, Cyrenus Temple #75 and Eastern Star affiliation. Frances retired as a custodian with over 20 years of service at Penn State University Middletown. She leaves her children, Ronald (Janie), Stanley (Dorothy), Donald (Vanessa) and Frances A. Porter, daughter-in-law Karen Porter, siblings; Thomas and Doris Neely, Mary Hughes, Maggie Barbee and Sheila Lowery, special niece Lillie Murdock, companion Isaiah Lowery, 14 grand, 38 great-grand and 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
