Genevieve N. Allen

Genevieve N. Allen, 91 years old of Harrisburg passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the last surviving child of the late Henry and Etta (Brown) Allen. Ms. Allen was a graduate of the former John Harris High School class of 1943 and attended Shippensburg State College. She loved watching old westerns, knitting and crocheting and was a prize winning artist. Genevieve was retired from the Commonwealth of PA in a supervisory position with over 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Baptist Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by brothers, Randolf (Randy), Levere and sister Margaret. Genevieve is survived by her special nephew Beauford Duhart along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
