It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace A. Lampley, who left this world peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on January 9, 1961, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Grace illuminated the lives of all who knew her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose laughter and warmth will forever echo in our hearts. Grace dedicated her life to the art of nurturing and beauty, blooming as a talented hair stylist and a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant at the Susquehanna Nursing Center. Her gentle hands transformed not just hairstyles, but also lives-bringing joy to her clients and love to her patients.
Grace is survived by her cherished daughters, Ma Linda and Jolynn Lampley; her son, Vergel Glover, brothers, Alex Lampley and Kim C. Lampley, sisters, Lenara Porter and Gloria Lampley, God sister, Judith Allen; and her adoring granddaughters. Grace took special pride in her granddaughters, Mariah (her twin ) and her little angel, Viore, nieces DaShauna Davenport and Shauntay Lampley; step-brother James McMillion; Aunt Christine Smith(Vincent); Aunt Lula Palmer; Uncle Amos Lampley; Uncle Emit Latimer (Jean); and a host of nieces and nephews. Each of these relationships reflects her unwavering love and devotion, with lasting memories that can never be unraveled.
In her essence, Grace was a radiant spirit-one who filled every room with light and laughter, effortlessly weaving connections with those around her. Her legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and a passion for life that inspires us to celebrate each moment.
In honoring her memory, we invite family, friends, and all who were touched by Grace's spirit to join us in a series of heartfelt ceremonies. A public viewing will be held at Hooper Memorial Home in the Walter Hooper Memorial Chapel on July 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, where we will gather to share our stories and celebrate her remarkable life. Allowing for intimate reflection and remembrance among her closest loved ones.
As we bid farewell to our dear Grace, let us carry her legacy forward-embracing community, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to uplift those around us.
Though she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, reminding us to celebrate life, love, and each other.
Rest in peace, dear Grace. Your light will never fade.
