Gwayne E. Cooper Sr., 64 of Harrisburg, passed away on February 14, 2023. He is the son of Mildred and the late Willie Cooper.
Gwayne retired from the Commonwealth, Dept of Transportation and served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed R & B music, singing, fishing, reading, playing the lottery, cooking, and the Chicago Bears. Gwayne was a loving, caring family man and was known as a father figure to a lot of youth.
He is survived by his wife Alisha Cooper, his mother, children; Gwayne Jr. and Christopher Cooper, Chavonne Winters, Nakita Alston, siblings; Renae (Brian) Dean, Rory Sr. (Natalie), Geoffrey (Charlene), and Derek (Jennifer) Cooper, Tony Harvey, and a host of relatives and friends.
