Helen M.H. Jones

Helen M. H Jones was born on July 12, 1914 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was one of five children born to the union of the late Elizabeth "Licks" Franklin Moraney and Jesse Moraney, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Thomas H. Jones, her son Theodore F. Jefferson, her sisters, Celestine, Elisabeth; brothers, Eugene and Jesse Moraney, Jr. She passed peacefully from this life on May 1, 2005 at SCCI-long term acute care facility. Helen was a faithful and devoted servant of Jehovah for over 48 years. Helen leaves cherished memories of her to: four daughters, Mrs. Theresa H. Johnson of Chambersburg, Mrs. Ida Hunt, Mrs. Juanita Poole of Harrisburg, and Miss Donna Lee of Richmond, Virginia; two sons Derrick King and Norman Geary of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren, Theodore Jefferson Jr. of Maryland, Rhonda Jefferson of Texas, Celestine (Leslie) M. Green of Richmond, Nicole H. Smith of Chambersburg, Danielle and Tiffany Hunt of New York, Alexander Hunt III, Brianna and Rochelle Poole, and Jesse Gilbert-King of Harrisburg; 8 great-grandchildren; many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
