Hilda L Elliott

Hilda Louise Elliott, 70 of Harrisburg, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, January 6, 2023. She was born on July 4, 1952, to the late John Fleming Jr. and Louise Ramsey. She is also preceded by her husband Adam S. Elliott.

Hilda was a lifelong member of Monumental A.M.E. Church, Steelton, PA.  She was apart of the combined choir and senior choir.  She graduated from Steelton Highspire High School in 1971, after which she attended Central Penn College, graduating in 1973.

Hilda worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Office of Amp, Inc. for 20 years. She was also an Executive Secretary with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Regional Office at the Human Relations Commission and retired in 2019 after 18 years of service.

She was married on August 25, 1973 to a wonderful man and her high school sweetheart for 39 years and from their union they were blessed with one daughter.

Hilda will be remembered by her beloved daughter, Hope S/L Elliott, brother Alvin Ramsey (Elaine), sister Cynthia M. Ramsey, sister-in-law, Sarah Lewis, brother in law, Julian Elliott, aunt Marian Hairston, nieces Diana and Anndria Ramsey, Kathy Lewis, nephews; James Lewis, Dr. Bruce J Lewis, Aaron, Adrian and Jarin Ramsey, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
