Isabella G. Payne

Isabella G. Payne, 77 of Harrisburg, PA passed peacefully on May 1, 2015 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Anderson and Theresa Robinson and proceeded in death by a brother, Edgar Robinson. Isabella was a member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Office of Administration, with 35 years of service. She participated in several organizations including the Frontiers, PSECU, Red Hat Society and volunteered at the Central PA Food Bank. Isabella is survived by her son George Payne (Matilda); grandchildren Lennart and Nova-Li; siblings Eleanor Bludsaw, Stewart Robinson and Mary Ann Howell; along with a host of relatives and friends. A Memorial Service to remember and celebrate Isabella’s life will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Central PA Food Bank, Harrisburg, PA.
