In Loving Memory of Ja'won Garrell Germany, It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ja'won Garrell Germany, who left this world on October 11, 2023, at the tender age of 16. Born on July 9, 2007, in Camp Hill, PA, Ja'won brought love, joy, and laughter into the lives of all who knew him.

Ja'won, was a remarkable young soul, and a student of the West Shore School District. He looked forward to starting his journey at Cedar Cliff High School and was an inspiration to many of his peers and teachers. Ja’won was well-liked by everyone in his school and in the community. He was affectionately known as “Wonk” by his family and friends and he enjoyed both listening to and writing his own music. He recently started his first job at McDonalds and had inspirations of being a successful realtor.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Ja'won was a loving son, cherished brother, and deeply valued friend. His bright smile and infectious laughter brought warmth to all around him. He shared an unbreakable bond with his mother, Brianna Mills, and his dad Bryson Doubs (who proceeded him in death). Ja’won also leaves his father Jonah Germany; both parents are left heartbroken by his untimely departure. He is also proceeded in death by his paternal aunt, Monel Walker, his pappy David Harbaugh’s and uncles Thomas and John.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to celebrate his life his little brothers, Amoni, and Camry Doubs, maternal grandparents Bonnie and Keith Mills, paternal grandparents Kimberly and Gary Germany, his aunt, Terra Harbaugh, and a host of cousins who were more like sisters and brothers. And a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly. As we reflect on Jawon’s life we remember the many moments of joy, laughter, and warmth he shared with each one of us. Ja’won although no longer with us, will forever remain in our heart and in our memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in memory of Ja'won, as he was passionate about raising awareness and supporting others facing similar struggles. May Ja'won's memory forever dwell in our hearts, and may his soul find eternal peace.
