Joseph W. Moore

Joseph William Moore III, 44 of Harrisburg, was born on February 7, 1977 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to the parents of Mary and his late father Joseph Moore II. He was affectionately known as Joe and transitioned from this life to eternal life on January 23, 2022.

Joe was a member of Bridge of Faith Church, the ARC of Dauphin County, Special Olympics and United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA. Joe was a fun and loving young man and his smile would brighten up anyone’s day

Joe loved listening to Michael Jackson, playing bingo, the slots at the casino and having a good meal. He also loved his family, dancing, bowling, children, coloring, watching television and he cheered on the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Joe leaves behind his mother, Mary Moore, his sister; Narkisha Moore, his Aunt Deborah Stollwell, his god-sister, Vanita Brooks, god-brothers; Arnett Johnson, Malachi and Terrance Brooks, niece and nephew; Te’Anna Charity and Francoise Faison, cousins Michael Smith, Michelle Smith, Sheila Stephen, Bernard Lee, Renee Smith, Amber Smith and Ronnie Sunders, his support team and special care givers, Leanora Boyd and Tamara Boyd-Lawson, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Social distancing and wearing of mark are always required, even if fully vaccinated.
