In Loving Memory of Kimberly Renee Baskins

Kimberly Renee Baskins, affectionately known to family and loved ones as Kimmie, entered peacefully into eternal rest on August 13, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1971 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Otha L. Ferguson and Ruth F. Ferguson.

Kimmie was a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School and had several other educational accomplishments in Technology, Real Estate and Travel.

A devoted mother, Kimmie cherished her two sons, Alex Martin Pettis and Lamont Oliver Jr. Her family was at the center of her heart, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Above all, Kimmie loved the Lord. Her faith was an important part of who she was and she carried her love for God and others throughout her life.

Kimmie was also a determined entrepreneur who pursued her passions through her work in real estate and travel. She embraced life, enjoyed meeting people, and was always looking for new experiences and opportunities.

Outside of work Kimmie enjoyed making people laugh and creating memories. She loved TikTok, playing pool, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. Whether gathered around a table, enjoying a game of pool, sharing a laugh, or simply being together, Kimmie knew how to make ordinary moments memorable.

Those who knew Kimmie will remember her for her loving heart, her humor, her beautiful smile, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Her presence was a gift, and although she is no longer with us, the love and memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

In addition to her father, Kimmie was preceded in death by her by her beloved grandmother Beulah B. Fleming and her step-father Reverend Dr. A. Addison Cash.

Kimmie leaves many behind to cherish her memory. They include her mother, Ruth F. Ferguson-Cash; her sons, Alex Martin Pettis (Ashia) and Lamont Oliver Jr; her grandchildren, My’ Asia Pettis and Joseph Pettis; her step-siblings, Raymond Cash, Wanda Chenault, Michael Cash, Lecretia Cash Faulcon and E. James Cash (Linnecko); her Godchildren, Heaven Clark and Brittney Reid; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

Kimberly Renee Baskins will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. She loved hard, laughed often, smiled brightly, and left a little piece of her heart with everyone she touched.
