Kurleana was born January 3, 1989 in Harrisburg, PA to Debbie Thompson.
Kurleana received her formal education and graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, where she participated in the Special Olympic Summer and Winter Games. She also was a diehard and dedicated sports fan of the Susquehanna Township Indians. She loved to swim, dance, roller skate, (Every weekend she was at the Star Skating Rink where she loved to show off her dance moves), listening to Contemporary Gospel Music. Kurleana also had a love for animals. Kurleana had a profound love for Fried Chicken with hot sauce. Kurleana loved her family and friends with all her heart, to the fact that, when asked about them she could name them all one-by-one. Kurleana also was very friendly and was open to making new friends. Kurleana was employed at Goodwill Industries for 1 year where she served as a stock clerk.
On Sunday, January 17, 2021 Kurleana transitioned from this earthly life into eternal life at Geisinger Danville Hospital in Danville, PA. Kurleana was preceded in death by her Paternal Mother Debbie Thompson, her Mother Shirley Wilkerson, Brothers Tywan Thompson, Ronald Payton, and Daniel Payton. Kurleana leaves to cherish her life, her father Robert (Sonny) Wilkerson, sisters Tymea Budd (Patrick), Typeacha Thompson, Sandra McCleave, Lil Jackson (Steve), Monica Wilkerson, Lorre Wilkerson, Marilyn Harris (Anthony), her brothers, Edie Hardison, Raymond Payton, Richard Payton, Robert Wilkerson (LaShawn) Todd Wilkerson, Wil Wilkerson (Barb), Russ Wilkerson, Sister In-Law Dominque Thompson and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and an abundance amount of friends.
