Larry A. Bates

Larry Bates, 66, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 23, 2024. He was born on November 24, 1957, in Petersburg, VA.

Larry was a kind generous, and funny man. He excelled in shooting pool and was a distinguished member of the Allison Hill pool club. A proud and loyal Eagles fan, he enjoyed watching the game with his family and friends. Larry's passion for cooking brought joy to many during family gatherings, and he really enjoyed listening to his music. 

Larry was a beloved husband to Dorothy, a cherished father to Larry Jr., Lydell, and Shonta, and a loving brother to John and Debbi. He was also a proud grandfather and uncle. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Frances, and his brother.

May Larry Bates rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held privately to honor his memory.
