Lavernon (Tigue) J. Cook, 64 of Harrisburg passed peacefully in Ashville, N.C. October 17, 2013. He was a retired U.S. Postal Employee and a Vietnam Veteran who loved ballroom dancing and Philadelphia Eagles. He is survived by three children; Amy Vanasco, Erica Cook and Alysha Cook; siblings Dr. Lillian Smith and brother Terry Cook with a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held Monday, October 28, 2013 at 10:30am and viewing 9:30 at The Bridge of Faith Ministries 4425 Chambers Hill Rd. Hbg., PA His final resting place will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
