Lois Ann Adams was born on February 2,1945 to the late Randolph White and Edna Green-White in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She received her formal education at Harrisburg City School System.

To know her was to adore her. Lois was a loving and passionate woman with an affectionate smile that would brighten your day. She married the love of her life, Julius B. Adams. Their union sparked an entrepreneurial journey in which they owned several businesses in the Harrisburg area; Adams Janitorial Services, Adams Rib Shack, and another culinary endeavor.

She also managed the Senior Citizen Center at Hall Manor, and played a supporting role at the Good Samaritan Christ Outreach Ministry founded by her husband in the late 1980's.

Lois was fiercely creative and enjoyed arts and crafts in her spare time, no medium was spared, she dabbled in painting, ceramics, crocheting, and jewelry making amongst other things. She was an avid BINGO player, so much so that often her family joked that she was "at work" when she was out playing BINGO.
