Maria Antonia Vigon

Maria Antonia Vigon Del Busto was born on Tuesday, June 13, 1961, in Havana, Cuba. She ascended on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving children.

At the age of 18, Maria came to the United States in search of the American Dream, arriving from Cuba in 1980. She spent many of her younger years in Miami, Florida, where she built a life rooted in family, culture, and resilience.

Maria loved filling her home with cherished knickknacks and photographs of the people she loved most. Music from her homeland brought her joy, especially the vibrant voice of Celia Cruz. She took immense pride in being a devoted mother not only to her own children but also to their friends, whom she welcomed with warmth and generosity.

Maria is preceded in death by her mother, Olga Del Busto; her father, Adolfo Antonio Vigon; and her niece, Lisandra Vigon.

Maria’s legacy continues through her children, Adamelys Rodriguez, Michael, Aimee, and Ashley Vigon; her siblings, Amada, Fernando, and Carlos Vigon Del Busto; her grandchildren, Sofia Parisii, Ebony & Ivory Zunun; and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
