Marlana M. Henry, 76, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, fell asleep in death on Sunday December 5th, 2021, at UPMC Harrisburg with her family by her side.

Marlana lovingly known as “Molly” was born on September 9th, 1945 to Catherine Gilbert and Kenneth Butler. She was the daughter of Catherine and James W. Clark Sr.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Butler, James and Catherine Clark, her sister Sharon Clark, and brothers James Clark Jr. and Marvin Clark.

Molly retired from the Commonwealth of PA in the Department of Revenue after 30 years of service. She also worked in health care field for many years assisting the elderly and infirmed. Later in 2018, she moved High Point, North Carolina and joined the Oak Hollow congregation. She was an avid reader, enjoyed music, dancing, singing, and cooking for her friends and family. Many will remember her chicken salad, zucchini bread and homemade bread stuffing.

Surviving Molly are her daughters Catherine Wilson of North Carolina (Steven), Tamara Parker and Marlene Parker both of Harrisburg, PA, and Sheri Fryson of Florida, sister Connie Sherard of Harrisburg and aunt Mildred Hirston of Florida. Molly had ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren all of whom she adored and loved spending time with.


Molly became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and symbolized her dedication by baptism on July 20, 2002. She also loved to share her faith with others. Molly will forever remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
