Maurice Thrasher

Maurice Thrasher, 51 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on January 6, 2017. He is the son of Jennifer Ayers and the late John Thrasher. Maurice owned and operated Thrasher Hauling and was previously employer by Star Transport. He enjoyed fishing, wrote music and poetry and was an avid Steelers fan. He leaves behind his mother Jennifer; children Patricia and Patrick Knight Thrasher, his brother Blake F. Thrasher, step-children Raynette, Tio, Charar, Alondo, Tonya and Latoya Holmes, 4 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
