Mehki Shauron Brooks

Mehki Brooks was born on January 13, 2005, at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of Kizzy Brooks of Harrisburg, PA, and Ralph Williams Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia.

From a young age, Mehki demonstrated independence, determination, and a strong desire to build a meaningful and successful life. He attended Cedar Cliff High School and later made the purposeful decision to enter the workforce, choosing to continue his education through discipline, hands-on experience, and hard work.

Mehki took great pride in being a hardworking young man. He was employed at UPS and American Home Health, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and unwavering drive. He had a clear vision for his future. His ultimate goal was to become a six-figure earner by the age of 21. Through multiple streams of income and relentless determination, Mehki was steadily working toward that goal and was incredibly close to achieving it. He was also in the process of establishing his business, My Life Journey Corporation (MLJ), a reflection of his entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and belief in creating his own path.

A young man of many talents and passions, Mehki was especially gifted at cutting hair, using his skill as a powerful outlet for creativity and self-expression. Music was another major part of his life; he was a rapper who appreciated and explored many genres, finding inspiration, rhythm, and comfort through sound. Mehki also enjoyed working on cars and took great pride in repairing his own vehicle. Known for his natural ability to fix just about anything, he was even called MacGyver, because he was the "fix it man". He carried countless business ideas and possessed a mindset rooted in growth, ambition, and possibility.

In addition to his many talents, Mehki was a gifted cook who found joy in preparing and sharing meals with those he loved. He was also a family historian, deeply interested in learning about his roots and preserving the stories and legacy of those who came before him. Above all, Mehki was a devoted family man who took great pride in caring for and protecting the people closest to his heart. He dedicated his whole life to lovingly supporting his mother, who lives with Multiple Sclerosis, a role he embraced with strength, compassion, and selflessness. He loved his mother more than anything. Those who knew Mehki will forever remember his unique style, undeniable ambition, and the powerful energy he brought into every space he entered.

Mehki leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving mother, Kizzy Brooks; his maternal grandparents, Rita Brooks and Kenneth McDowell; his big brother, Eric Washington Jr., who took great pride in helping Mehki grow into the man he was, recognizing his value, leadership qualities, and strength of character; his younger brother, Chanze Bryant, whom Mehki loved deeply and supported as a devoted father figure; and his beloved nephew, Ermias Washington, whom he loved and cared for as his own son, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his uncle, Damion Brooks of Macon, Georgia; Kenneth McDowell of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his cousin Khalil Brooks and a host of other cousins whom he deeply loved.

On his paternal side, Mehki leaves to celebrate his life: his father, Ralph Williams Jr. (Kayla); his paternal grandparents, Vachall Williams and Ralph Williams Sr.; his siblings, Victory Williams and Gavin Williams; his aunt, Latisha Brooks; and his cousins, Cindy Brooks and Kedarius Brooks.

On December 30, 2025, at the age of 20, Mehki transitioned from this life, leaving behind a deep and lasting impact on all who knew and loved him. Though his life was far too brief, Mehki's impact was powerful. He will be remembered for his work ethic, his talents, his ambition, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy lives on through the dreams he pursued, the lives he touched, and the love that forever surrounds his name.
