The dusk has set, the dawn has risen, another man God has chosen. To watch over us from up above, to shower us with everlasting love. Na’Zae Darrell Baltimore, 22, was born to parents Ka’Darrah Nicole Perry and Michael Anthony Baltimore Jr.on September 19, 2000.

Na’Zae graduated from Eastern High School in Mebane, North Carolina in 2019. Na’Zae was an all-around athlete and had a passion for all sports. He participated in wrestling, baseball, football, and soccer. In high school he excelled in basketball and track & field. He played on an elite AAU basketball team and had a successful high-school career. In track & field he was a 3x state champion in the shot-put event. At the Collegiate level Na’Zae was selected twice to the All-regional team and was a member of the 2021 National runner up team, while attending and playing basketball for Davidson Davie Community College.

Na’Zae also had a love for music. He played in the band from his sixth-grade year until graduation.  This love for music was also a service to the Lord as he played in his church’s band.  He loved the Lord and his smile lit up a room.  His positive and easygoing spirit was felt by all who knew him.

Na’Zae was summoned home under God’s watch on April 21, 2023 and leaves his mother: Ka’Darrah Nicole Perry, father: Michael Anthony Baltimore Jr., sisters; De’Ziure Easter, NiYanah Perry, Zo’Ri Martin, and Kalea Rainford and younger brother Zy’Mir Oliver, maternal grandparents; Coleen Goheen, and his late grandfather Darrell Myers and paternal grandparents; Viola Rooks, Theodore Rooks, and Michael Baltimore Sr. and his late maternal great grandparents: Audrey Goheen, Cleo Jones, Leslie Myers, and Walter Myers, and his paternal great-grandparents: Charlotte Mangus, the late Donald Mangus Sr., Barbara Baltimore and the late Charles Baltimore  and aunts; Bri’onnah Perry,  Sharon Wong, his late aunt Alicia Myers, Tiffany Harris, Shanelle Baltimore, and Brionna Baltimore and uncle; Maurice Baltimore and cousins; Rekinia Myers, Brandon Myers, Maia Wong, Ki’Lar King, the late Hauson Greene Jr. (Choppy), Sharda’nae Wilkerson (Nea-nea), Maurche’ Baltimore Easter, Trevon Baltimore, Tyquan Walker, Destiny Williams, Jaiden Baltimore, Saniah Baltimore and a host of relatives and friends to carry on his memory.
