Prudence Clark

Prudence Ann Clark, 80, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on June 26, 2025. She was born August 28, 1944, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mary E. Selvey-Rockmore and George William Clark.

Prudence attended The Peoples Community Baptist Church and served as a Missionary. She was employed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, was a private duty nurse, and was a nurse for Holy Spirit Hospital, The Jillson House, Ballou Nursing Home, and AT Cross in Rhode Island. Prudence enjoyed going to the racetrack, playing bingo, playing cards, watching WWF Wrestling, gardening, knitting, and having family gatherings. Prudence was a proud and loving mother, sister, and good friend to all who knew her. Prudence was a nurturer as she was always a caregiver in one form or another throughout her life here.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by daughter Yolanda M. Clark, sister Patricia M. Selvey, brothers Kevin Clark and Ronald Clark, grandmother Sarah Selvey, granddaughter Shaytell N. Clark, and grandson Christopher S. Auter.

Many cherished memories will continue to overflow in the minds of her living family, sons Anthony Tyrone Clark and Travis William Clark, daughters Carlisa Renee Clark, and Chaffonda Antoinette Clark, brother James Rector, Keith D. Rockmore, sisters Sharon L. Hill, Doncella F. McGuffin, Tonya C. Allen, Patricia Clark-Cooksey, grandchildren Toquhia V. Morton and Tara D. Morton, Shanique L. Clark, Anthony T. Clark Jr., Samuel Chapman III, Shaka L. Chapman, Tyree Logan, Rotnei Logan, Tametrius W. Clark, Chauncy L. Clark, God son Sh’Quan AlsBrook Sr., along with a host of other loving family members and friends.
