Raymond Ramirez

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we will honor the life of Raymond Michael Ramirez III, who will be celebrated for his vibrant spirit and remarkable journey. Ray, who made his transition on October 1, 2025, at the age of 57, was born on April 28, 1968, in Lewisburg, PA. A man who truly embraced life, he was a devoted father, partner, and friend, leaving an irreplaceable mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ray was a Renaissance man in his own right. He found joy and fulfillment in many interests, from boxing and martial arts to his deep love for learning. He started boxing at the young age of 13 and went on to win Golden Gloves in 1987, training at the historic Joe Frazier's gym and participating in no-holds-barred MMA fights. A proud Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Ray enjoyed sharing his passion for martial arts with his daughter, Rayna, and often found happiness coaching his students. His enthusiasm wasn't just reserved for the ring; he had a genuine love for animals, frequently stopping to help them and sharing his life with various canine companions.

Ray's infectious humor and warm spirit deeply touched the lives of his family and friends. He was a treasured father to Rayna Pierce and a stepfather to Anthony Pierce, and a loving common-law spouse to Becky Pierce, who will forever cherish the countless memories they shared. He is survived by his cherished aunts, Rose Gray and Candee Logan, his stepfather, Shedrick Sloane, and his step-siblings: Shedrick, Tracey, Lori, and Nigel Sloane. He leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his memory. Each of them will carry forward the laughter, love, and resilience that defined Ray's spirit.

As we come together to remember Ray, we invite friends and family to share in stories and laughter, just as he would have wished. Ray's love for life, martial arts, and the joy he brought to the world will forever be remembered.

We will celebrate the profound legacy he leaves behind, a legacy filled with love, passion, and a zest for life that inspired all around him. Rest in peace, dear Ray. While we mourn your loss, we will celebrate your incredible journey and hold you close in our hearts. Your laughter, kindness, and boundless spirit will never be forgotten. He leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.
