Raymond Thorn Jr.

Raymond Thorn, Jr., 75 of Harrisburg, passed Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was the son of the late Raymond Sr. and Mattie Thorn. He retired from the Navy and the Commonwealth of PA, department of Labor and Industry as a computer programmer. Raymond was a member and Elder of The First Seventh Day Adventist Church, member of VVA, enjoyed computers, electronics and his car. He leaves behind his devoted wife Catherine Thorn, two sons, Dennis and Waymon Earley and predeceased by Raymond C. Thorn. He also leaves siblings Lorraine Head, Norma Jean Thomas, Rosemary Davenport and Wendy Hanson, daughter-in-law Sharita Thorn, 10 grand and 3 great-grandchildren, host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at his church, 424 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m., burial Rolling Green Cemetery.
