Rhoda L. Long

Rhoda L. Long, 48, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Harrisburg Hospital. Rhoda is the daughter of Victoria Powell and the late James Jones; she attended the Harrisburg School District and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School. She retired from Homeland Hospice Center; had memberships at Mt. Calvary COGIC, the Legion and enjoyed video games, music and spending time with her grandchildren. Rhoda is survived by her life-long companion; Larry Lowe, her mother Victoria, her children; Lyndell Long of KY, Cierra Long-Lowe, Michael Lowe, Tequoia and Britni Lowe all of Harrisburg, siblings; Ina (Randy) Webb, Audrey (Roderick) Jackson, James Jones, Randell (Lisa) Long and Leonard Long, 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2339 N. 6^th Street, Harrisburg, PA.
