Richard L. Henderson

Richard L. Henderson Sr., 73 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on May 3, 2021. He was the son of the late James and Delores Henderson and predeceased by 4 siblings; James, Denzel, Donald Henderson and Robert Banks. Richard retired from New Cumberland Army Depot, Patriot News Delivery and Dry Cleaning Industry. He also enjoyed playing pool, sports and was a sharp dresser. He leaves his wife Celestine, children; Leslie, Marguerite, Richard Jr. (Shireena) Henderson. and Treena (Aaron) Johnson, siblings; Jovet, Leroy, Joan, Linda, Marty and Brandt Henderson, Roberta and Jeffrey Ford, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Services held on Thursday, May 13th at New Hope Living Baptist Church, 395 Second Street, Steelton PA at 11:00 a.m., Viewing at 10:00 a.m. Burial; William Howard Day Cemetery.  All COVID-19 restriction's will be in place, Mask Must Be Worn!
