Rosene Lively-Darren 86, of Waynesboro, GA transitioned from this life to the next to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2024.  Rosene was born on January 22, 1937 to the late Alvin and Sara (Felix) Lively in Alexander, GA.

Rosene was a 1957 graduate of Waynesboro Industrial High School where she played basketball. She worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years and of those 30 years she was a member of the Eastern Stars and became a Daughter of Isis.  After retiring, she relocated to Harrisburg, PA in 2008, attended The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member in 2023.

Rosene was proceeded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Darren; son, Kevin Troy Darren; sister, Mary Lively-Austin; brother-in-law, Thomas Austin and grandson, Nicolas Darren.
