Sylvester Clark

Sylvester “Syl” Clark, 88 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Harrisburg Hospital. He was the son of the late Rev. Amos and Lala Clark, a Navy Veteran and retired from New Cumberland Army Depot with over 25 years of service. He was also a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and card games. Sylvester is survived by his wife, Sarah Clark, 2 daughters, Sylvia Strawn of Harrisburg, and Sheila (Norman) Lewis of York, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 in Hooper Memorial Home  at 11:00 a.m., viewing at10:00 a.m., burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. www.hooperfuneral.com
