Tierra D. Maxson Stouffer

Today we celebrate the life of our beloved Angel Tierra Denice Maxson. Born March
24th 1981 to Rutha Jean Davis and Henry Lee Finchez at Harrisburg Hospital and
took her final breath on January 18th 2022 at 1:02 a.m. From the moment she entered
the world Tierra took the role of nurturer and protector. She was courageous; strong
willed, sassy, empathetic, innovative, loyal, romantic, brave, intelligent and a true to life
Aries… A fighter.

She was a mother, not only to her children but to so many others. Tierra possessed a smile of pure radiance and beauty, a heart of gold and the spirit to shine light upon the
darkest of days in anyone's life. Many of us have experienced her love for life and others, her infinity to make you smile, laugh or cry tears of pure joy. Tierra was our angel, our goddess, our Queen to cherish forever.

As her passing comes unexpectedly, understand that she wouldn’t have it any other way. Unpredictable but always sound in her judgment. Tierras ascent into heavens gates brought a fractured family together. Healed the wounds of despair, brought love back into
our lives and gave us all the opportunity to forgive in order to find peace of mind, body and spirit. Though 40 years seems short lived… the life she experienced in that time frame felt like an eternity of memories. My beloved sister lived… and in her memory we to shall
live. Acts of kindness, integrity and reciprocal gestures of genuine altruism were the benchmarks of Tierra’s being.

She loved movies, cooking, singing, arts & crafts, dressing up and dancing, Tierra always brought the party to your doorstep. We’ve witnessed her protest injustice and lead a community to stand for a righteous cause. She believed in you when you neglected to
acknowledge your own potential. My beloved sister was my guardian Angel… my protector, heart, soul and the wind beneath my wings… I say to you all…. remember to always treat others kindly for you never know when you may be in the presence of an angel. We Love
You Tierra…always and forever!!!

Tierra is survived by her four children: Ashanti and Jovaugn Stouffer, Logan Sneed and Tristian Casteel, Mother Rutha Jean Davis, Dad Erskine Davis, brothers Sanchez and Kelvin Maxson, Erskine Davis Jr., sisters: La’Dia Burden and Lavi Davis, and many family members and friends.

Social distancing and wearing of mask are always required, even if fully vaccinated.
