Tracie Marie (Turner) White, affectionately known as "Yeh-Yeh," was born on December 6, 1959, to the late Phyllis Marie (Garnes) Turner and Godfrey Freeman Turner, in Harrisburg, PA. She received her formal education in the Harrisburg School District and graduated from Central Dauphin East High School.
Tracie started her legacy in 1978 with the birth of her eldest daughter, Sharlita Marie. Building on her legacy in 1980, with the birth of her second daughter, Rikeena Marie. In 1980, she met the love of her life, Ronald L. White, gaining bonus children Nicole, Roniqua, & Ronald (Little Ronald). The couple married on the day between their birthdays, December 5, 1984. From this union, Tracie & Ronald welcomed daughters Erica Marie (1984) and Renada Marie (1986).
Tracie babysat since childhood, despite working jobs at the State Museum & TRW, where she met Ronald. She was able to meld her passion into a successful and rewarding career when she opened 'Miss Tracie's Daycare' in 1988. Through this ministry, she cared for generations of children, up to the day she departed.
Tracie was a beacon of light; full of God, Grace, & Gratitude! With a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and generous spirit. She loved her family & friends; showing up and supporting everything of importance to them. She enjoyed shopping (two of everything), watching politics & Catfish (TV show), calls with "her girls," or sitting in her rocker with a crossword puzzle during the day. The evenings were dedicated to enjoying the company of her husband.
Tracie M. White is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Sharlita Turner, Rikeena Turner, Renada (Darryl) White-Everett, Nicole (Robert) Taylor, Roniqua White of Harrisburg, PA, and Erica (Kevin) King of Lawrenceville, GA.
