Minister Walter Louis Wright lll, a beloved father, dedicated son, cherished sibling, and esteemed member of the community, passed away peacefully at his residence in Harrisburg, PA. Born on July 17, 1959, in Laredo, TX, to Walter Wright II and Florence Wright. 

 

Walter was educated in the public school system earning his high school diploma. He would continue his education to become a minister.
 
Walter demonstrated bravery and selflessness by serving our country in the Marines. His time in the military shaped his character and instilled in him the values of honor, discipline, and resilience, which he carried with him throughout his life. 

 

With a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to make a difference, Walter dedicated his professional life to the healthcare industry. For many years, he served as a Dietary Aide at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center, where he played a vital role in improving the lives of the residents he cared for. Walter's kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on both his colleagues and the individuals he served.

 

Walter's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. As a proud father, he showered his children with unparalleled affection, guidance, and encouragement. Walter's caring nature extended beyond his immediate family, as he held a special place in his heart for those who knew them.

 

Walter was preceded in death by his father Walter L Wright II, mother Florence D. Wright, sister Yvonne Rain, and brother Ronald Pope. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Alysha Marshall, and Son-in-law Dwayne Marshall Sr., daughter Teresa Wright; son, Walter Wright IV; sister, Maria Wright; his grandchildren and a host of family and friends who had the privilege of knowing him.
