Winifred Ann Banks

Winifred Ann Banks departed this life on August 21, 2023 at the age of 97, she was born in Lancaster, PA. Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her husband Alexander Banks, her Mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Motes, her son Thomas Motes who she doted over, her daughter Lorraine Motes both of Harrisburg, PA and her sister Ducki Mims.

Mrs. Winifred Banks was a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church for decades. Winifred was employed for over 20 years at the Goodwill Industries as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed dancing, which she was great at. Her other hobbies included a big CD and DVD collection, listening to jazz music, baking for her family during the holidays, studying self healing books, reading the Bible and watching Dr. Phil. Winifred was a very neat, particularly friendly woman who stayed to herself with the exception of her very dear friend of over 50 years, Miss Joyce.

Mrs. Winifred Banks leaves to cherish her memory, her dear youngest son, Paris Motes, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren along with a host of other family members & friends.
