Winona was the youngest of the 8 children of the Murry and Morris family, in which there was two boy and six girls. Winona was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She would often watch football games with her sister in Michigan over the phone. Winona did not have any children of her own, but enjoyed all young people. Her nieces and nephews were her instant children. She would braid their hair, teach them how to drive, and also teach them worldly things. If their parents say No, they would go to Aunty Nona and she would say Yes. I overheard my twins and other nieces and nephews say, Winona was their ride and die, the aunt that they could hang out with and feel comfortable.
