Brian Moore, Jr.

On Thursday, November 19, 1998, a beloved child was born. Brian Cornelius Moore, Jr. was born at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia to the late Brian C. Moore, Sr., and Teresa A. Gaskins. Brian led a very active childhood in which he played various sports such as, Tackle Football, Flag Football, and Basketball. He was very competitive and received numerous awards and medals throughout the years.

Brian received his education from Manassas City Public School System; Round Elementary, Metz Middle, and Osbourn High. He was an honor roll student throughout the years. Brian left his mark on every teacher, and person he encountered during these years to make lifelong friendships. He was able to tough many lives through his employment and daily dealings.

Despite the trials and tribulations that Brian dealt with in life, he always stayed upbeat. He was the life of the party. He was affectionately known as “Broskii” to all his friends and family. He loved to sing, dance, and perform if you allowed him to. Brian loved kids although he didn’t have any of his own. He often baby sat for friends and family members whenever asked. He made friends wherever he went. Brian loved his family and friends with all his heart and always left you with a “Love you” before leaving.

On Saturday, July 24, 2021, Brian departed this life. He was preceded in death by his father Brian C. Moore, Sr., his grandmother Patricia Stribling, and his grandfather Mikuel T. Gaskins Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Teresa Gaskins; Stepmother Sherry Papavasiliou; four brothers Tommy Papavasiliou(Meghan), Trever Papavasiliou(Robin), Brian Gaskins, Christopher Weber; five sisters Alexis Keith(Thomas), Tocarra Rector, Alexis Papavasiliou, Patricia Moore, Cierra Smith; one grandmother Barbara Gaskins; one great grandmother Ernestine Davis; one great grandfather Ernest Davis; two aunts Brittney Gaskins, Crystal Moore; two uncles Mikuel Gaskins(Cheyenne, and William Moore; Nine nieces, five nephews and a host of cousins and friends that loved him dearly.
