Chandra Marie Hill

Chandra Marie Hill, affectionally known as Chanie, 34, passed peacefully on May 17th, 2020 at her home in Harrisburg, PA.

Mrs. Hill was born on September 13th,1985 in Harrisburg, PA to Ronette Hill and Barry Williams. She was a student of the Harrisburg School District until she received her diploma from John Harris High School in the summer of 2005.  Chanie and her husband Jason Strunk started their family with the birth of their daughter Aaliyah Hill who was born on June 4th, 2006. Chanie was heavily involved in local community work and was also a member of Unitarian Church of Harrisburg under the leadership of The Rev. Dr. Anthony P. Johnson. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, nature walks and gatherings with her family.

Her family pays this tribute to her, “Chanie was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she opened her heart and her home to many children over the years and she will be sorely missed.”

Chanie leaves many who will cherish fond memories including; her husband Jason Strunk and daughter Aaliyah Hill, her Mother Ronette Hill, her grandmother Pearl Patterson, her godmother Cathy Williams, her sister Chayna Hill, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held privately at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. with burial at Paxtang Cemetery.
