Hazel Allen

Hazel Allen, 94 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on May 20, 2020. The daughter of the late Paul and Bessie (Rainey) Carter and predeceased by a daughter Rebecca A. Carter and sister Jamie Lou Butler. Hazel retired from Harrisburg Hospital as a Sterilization Technician in Central Supply with 20 years of service. She was a current member of Baptist Fellowship Church and a former member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed socializing and entertaining. Hazel leaves to celebrate her life her son, Ronald Hopkins, daughter-in-law Paula Scipio Hopkins, grandchildren; Aaron, Anna, Nikeya, Yolonda and Douglas, 4 great and 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives including Beaufort and Nancy Duhart, Jamie, Anthony and Paula Noble and several dear friends. Graveside Services will be held at Gardens of Rest, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is handling arrangements. www.hooperfuneral.com
